My art practise is driven by the desire to understand existential feelings through an expressive use of colour.
I am deeply inspired by the landscape, both natural and surreal. You will find a variety of styles/ themes throughout my portfolio as my work reflects the variouse stages of my development.
Favourite artists: Edward Hopper, Chaim Soutine, Paul Nash & Rothko
Favorite medium: Oil Painting
Hobbies: Walking with my dog, Ralph - I'm more of a gentle walker than a serious hiker!, Reading Crime Novels. Journaling/ scrapboking and of course painting and drawing at any opportunity!
Art Escape uk
When I am out of the studio I am delivering creative workshops via Art Escape uk. These are currently based in the south west, England. Workshops are both indoor & outdoor experiences that cover a range of subjects with the aim to capture individualised expression.
